Silent Runnings: A Silent Film Festival

March 2008

Silent Runnings is a silent film festival hosted by Cornershop Projects in Vancouver in March 2008. Set within a larger thematic of Obsolete Concepts, the films included in Silent Runnings will be shown in multiple and various sites and locations in Vancouver. Homes entertainment systems, computers (on and offline) art galleries, public projections, and store fronts are some of the potential viewing locations.

Guidelines/Requirements

  • Subject matter is up to you
  • 30 seconds to 5 minutes in length (including any credits, if included)
  • No sound (no music)
  • 2 separate DVD copies of your film
  • A brief synopsis (1 or 2 paragraphs) of your film and contact info
  • Submissions should be received by FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 29th, 2008
